About Me

For me, taking photographs is about a capturing the emotion behind an exact moment in time; your child's laugh as you chase them through a park, a glance back towards your parents at your wedding, or sharing a gaze with your partner as you hold your new baby in your arms. 

The joy in photography comes from cultivating these moments in a setting that's natural and comfortable for you and your loved ones, not in a formal studio. I travel to where your family is most at ease, be it your home, the lakeshore, or a beautiful park around the Twin Cities, and spend the afternoon or the entire day capturing these special moments as they unfold.

When I'm not scouring new shooting locations Minneapolis with my camera slung around my shoulders I can be found on a patio outside with good friends listening to live music or at home reading on the deck with my husband and our ill-behaved puppy, Chester.
